    Riva rideplate

ok guys just want to get your reviews on the rideplate.
I am building an rxpx for circuit and not top speed.
i want to be hooked up and dont want the bow in the air. Will shimming the plate help or welding a piece on the back or should i get rid or the plate and go back to stock?

Extend the back, fill the middle section so its flat then test/shim accordingly, its good for straghtline tracking in chop and has more grip in the turns. With the middle filled it shouldnt need much any shimming just use the VTS for what suits you. R88

How long are the extensions normally made?

Is it better to just put an extension on OEM plate or aftermarket plate for hard cornering?

That depends on the rider. The riva plate gives more grip in the corners and tracks beter in the chop. But it has 2 much lift 4 CC so you either have 2 shim the rear alot or fil in the middle. I normaly use a 60mm extension in the middle. R88

i dont run cc but this is an extension ..and i filled some of the cut out in and have it shimmed down 1 washer..but it is on my own hull so what that does for me will be a little different..but the priciples are the same

Great CC ride plate , iam running it with a Riva pump extension with a R&D auto drop nozzle and the set works a treat ....

I may look into filling the back in as the RXP still hops a bit on the straight ...
