    Riva ECU and 48 Injectors

    Running a Riva ECU with 48 injectors, do think the AFR will be too lean or will I be ok with this. I am running with an X-charger on a RXP. Anybody else done this and was it ok.

    I think u should be fine. As far as i know the bosch 48lb injectors flow the same as the riva 50lb injectors.

    The 48s will flow better than the 50s.

    You mean the Bosch 48s Will flow better then riva 50,s.

    I think you should be fine especially with x wheel.
    There have been some use the Bosch 48s with Riva ecu and bigger charger with rrfpr.

    I'm running the Bosch 48's with mine with a Rrfpr, and et 68-140r. They work perfect for this setup. They do flow more than those Riva 50's.

    You are correct, I assumed he was refering to the Bosch 48s and Riva type 50s.

    I agree. Will be fine but am curious what brand injectors. Pretty much any decent 48lb injector will flow more than the riva style 50's at anything above 50ish lbs of pressure. Turn the pressure down below that and the rivas will begin to out-flow the 48's. The injectors are rated at 43lbs fuel pressure and the rivas choke under pressure.

    The injectors look just the same as the Riva units as in same shape I will look later at them and see if I can find any more info on the body of the injector.

    I will take a photo and try to upload also.

    I am running a set of Riva 50s now but what to change them as I have a problem with the ski and am trying a few things to find out what it is. I do not think it is the injectors which are faulty.

    The ski will start warm up ok and you can then have a good blast around fine but the as I am running on idle then No.2 Cylinder stops running. If I change the spark plug it then works fine again until you slow down on to idle after a good blast around. When you take the plug out it is the correct colour etc and it not wet with fuel.

    I was going to try the 48s to see if the fault was still there after using them.
