    straight pipe?

I want to put a straight pipe pipe on my 07 ultra 250. I already have the riva waterbox and free flow exhaust kit. I know I may lose a little bottom end but the ski has plenty. I'm running expert open runabout closed course, so rules don't matter, hahaha! Does the straight pipe need to have a bung welded on the pipe for the water line,so the silicone pipe coupler doesn't melt, or can I just shoot the water out through a hull fitting.

Pm dubz. He has this mod. I believe he said it actually gave him more bottom end.

Really, sounds cool. I figure the weight reduction and the fact that the craft will actually be more balanced weightwise. I hope it will give me more rpm.

It does help some on the bottom end....I have one for sale with 2 extra water inlets, one for the hot water reroute from the intercooler and one for just extra water and to quiet down a notch or 2 with an inline valve to change water flow..............pm me if interested.........

does help on the low end which equates to better recovery time when coming off swells and egagaging / recovering the pump - not huge gain but noticeable. Dubz' pipe sound is manageable - loud but not too loud. I had one that was so loud that it actually hurt people's ears... it was so disruptive (loud) that I decided to remove it.

    Where are you getting yours?

Hey Socal I just sent a message to ultra tn to see what he wants for his pipe. Do you have an extra? I actually only need a pipe with one water fitting but I can always plug the extra fitting. Thanks for the help.
