NGK LFR6AIX-11 Iridium IX Spark Plug 09 fx cruiser sho?

Attachment 232301Has anyone tried different plugs in their FX SHO?

the stock plug is the LFR6, so is it safe to use a better plug from the same NGK manufacturer? I was thinking of these:

I used to use the Denso Iridium plugs on my seadoo's and went back to the stock NGK's. There was no benefit to using the Iridiums and I didn't get longer life out of them.

Excellent, thanks so much for the response!
Have you by chance used that lucas oil fuel conditioner? i use that in my truck and get about 2mpg more and i wrote the company and they assured me that it would not harm and would actually increase my engine life of the yamaha!
