ride plate and intake for FZS in the ocean

whats the best ride plate and intake grate for riding in the ocean and choppy rivers?

ive searched and searched and all i find is info for lake riders and speed chasers. i want speed but not at the sake of handling or rough water hookup. cause i doubt my FZS will ever see glass.

    regards, ned

Whats the speed limit on the worx? Will i still be able to hit 75mph with the right mods?

Dont go there..I found the speed limit. Worx awesome for cc but be very very very careful trying to go for top end with this plate.

I ride primarily in the ocean and I find the stock plate and a R&D intake grate is a great combo. You can always knock out the spacers on the stock plate and do some shimming youself to fine tune what you are looking for.

For rough water I would recommend the R&D. You can shim it down enough that it handles great in the ocean.

Was the adjustable one what Jerry was referring to, is there another R&D. I'm looking at similar things to nedFZS.

I have both R n D plate and grate (two shimms in the rear). The plate made the ski just a bit more directional, yet twitchy enough to still be fun and the grate helped alot with hookup when riding through big chop.
