Brand New RXT-X pulling to the right

Just purchased a brand new 2011 RXT-X and it is pulling to the right. What would cause this and is there an easy adjustment?

Check your steering cable nozzle adjustment in the back of the jet pump. The best way to do this is put your handle bars in the center position stand behind the jet pump and look to see if your steering nozzle is center (not turn to the side when the handle bars are in the center position) if it is not center then you need to adjust your steering cable at the rear nozzle and put it as center with your jet nozzle as much as possible. Also check your sponsons and OPAS system for any loose components or damage.

Cause is steering cable/nozzle adjustment required and is VERY easy to fix. First, read your Owners Manual for steps to raise the iBR gate - a little complicated at first but you'll remember for future use.

Once iBR gate is in raised position, use 2 10mm wrenches disconnect steering cable from nozzle, lengthen/shorten cable with adjustment screw, re-install, test. Take tools with you to lake, test the steering, go back to boat ramp, put ski on trailer to re-adjust if required. This a common minor adjustment - very easy to fix!

You are going to need to know how to raise the gate at the lake to check the pump/nozzle area for obstructions, hoses, clamps, etc.

i stick a ruler across the end of the nozzle and look at it compared to the rear of the ski...so i can see the alignment better..
