My first mods on mine will be an intake grate and pump seal kit.
Next will be that bad ass Riva cold air intake kit and intake manifold upgrade.
Then the Riva steering system and Riva bars.
I'm also putting the Riva rear exhaust on the ski. It's just too quiet with the stock exhaust.
Anyone want to trade me a VXS seat for a VXR seat?

I can tell you that right one of the first mods should be a jim's modified vx plate. I gained a solid 2 mph just by bolting that plate on.

The VXR definitely starves for air.
Adding cold air & intake manifold upgrade will add 2mph.
Here's a picture of what I did for our cheapo cold air intake system.
I used a dremel to open a hole on the underside of the hood & also modified the chrome bezel to allow more air in.
I also removed the panel between the front storage & the engine, disconnected the stock air filter system & fitted a K&N filter to the throttle body.
The free flow didn't seem to add any speed but does make the ski sound awesome!
