Psycho RXP's TURBO build !!!
That's right guys, finally stepped up to a turbo. I've had my very last supercharger failure. After trashing 2 flywheels, and now my ET140 R charger about 5 hrs apart, Ive decided enough was enough.
So I picked up Bari (RXPdoo's) Forced performance billet, dual ball bearing, watercooled CHRA turbo, and started collecting parts last week. Huge thanks to Breon, for the use of his shop, tools, and all the welding. Here's some pics of the progress so far....
lightened 04'cam, and single gear 900 gram flywheel38mm Tial MV-S watercooled wastegate.

a few more
Still waiting on the 3" exhaust tubing, and waterjacketing pipes to come in. Gotta finish the turbo's oil, and water line routing, and water jacket the hot housing.
Still gotta relocate the coolant bottle. (keeping closed loop for the engine).
have to make a turbo mount/support hangar.

we didnt do bad for a days work..and i was beat..you still have alot to do... working with new material for the down pipe not cut up oem stuff it will be easy comparitively..
helping you with yours ...i am calling it practice for mine once i get my hull sorted... after riding blackvr's /brians ..i know it is the way to go..and i didnt even push it at al i was just watching him on my new hull.. for those of you who have never ridden a turbo ski you have no idea ... it is a little different than a super charged ski but the acceleration is omg..even compared to my rude 3 ..
jason you are going to love it...i want to see how fast that billet wheeled turbo spools with the .63 housing.
you need to post a pic of the modified j pipe after it was finished..all jacketed..ect..honestly i thought using the stock j pipe to start with was going to work but look like crap ..i was surprised about how it came out once it was finished....the pics you have in the begining stages dont do it justice..
seems i am allways behind the curve fla has lots of omg fast skis..
all these turbo builds..the next hydrodrag is going to be really fast..

Well my Down pipes came in today, and started fabbing them up. They started as 180* U-bends, then cut them into 90's. Also finished up the oil drain to PTO, cut up the old trashed SC housing, and put it to use.
Then took the pipes to our local muffler shop, to flare the 3" pipe up to 3.5" to make water jacketing much easier to weld, and cleaner looking.
