Do a search on the Greenhulk forums for AGM battery

Buy a quality battery for your PWC.

I think it is 300 Amps. What parts store do you have in the area.

do we have to have a AGM battery? i found a regular small size 12v battery with 275 cold cranking amps.

The only thing the other batteries mentioned on the box was "more than enough cranking amps for ATV, PWC, Motorcycles" and had a picture of a newer style yamaha PWC

If you have an Orielys get a 30CL. It's an agm style and fits perfect.

I replaced my RXP-X's battery with an Oddessy 925 AGM battery based on K447's advice and I really like it! Well worth the extra money!

Sorry it's an ext30L. Search it and Orielys on google. I think mine was 125. Troyheb has one like it too.

Cranking Amps is not an important parameter for selecting PWC batteries. Other things are more important.

Number one is reliability over time. Any new battery of the correct physical size will start your PWC when the battery is new.

A high quality AGM battery will withstand the pounding of the hull in the water, and the degradation over time, much better than a cheap lead-acid battery. Sealed AGM batteries from a reputable brand will last a long time (multiple years), and will provide reliable power.

My buddy told me to never get a battery that doesn't have enough cold cranking amps bc it could possibly fry the resisters or something in that nature (forget the exact words he said but that sums it up)
