    Lightbulb 785 help

I need help, I'm trying to build a killer project x2 and i want to slam a 785 in it with triple pipes, I'm no afraid of fiberglass work, what i need is dimensions of the 785 motor from the edge of the exhaust to the edge of the flame arrestors. Also the measurement from coupler to collector.

    Welcome to the Hulk

The Pro 785 motor with exhaust is a very three dimensional item. You are aware that the tuned pipes run forward to a collector box in the nose of the hull?

Do you have the entire exhaust sytem yet? thats 3 head pipes for each, bolts, 3 triple pipes with hoses and clamps ,4-way,restrictors in place,hoses(3/8" )for pissers, pissers, collector, a manifold for cooling lines, hoses for both sides of collector ,3-smaller,1 bigger.....,5 foot hose, muffler that fits---stock 785 pro,and exhaust fitting for both sides and clamps for wherever needed?

I wouldnt dive in until I had all of that first myself.

And a "jetworks valve" also. I have a smaller graco strainer before the 4-way and restrictors myself.

A lot of guys have installed a water valve shut off for towing along with a big strainer after the valve. Derwood has a nice setup on his Pro785. Might want to check out his thread in the projects section. Its not a x-2 but has lots of nice shots of the hull and you can see how things line up.

You are going to have a hard time fitting the stock forward mount pipes in the X2 you would be better of with some rear mounted wrap around pipes like the Moto Marine's. The stock pipes with front waterbox is close to 4+ feet long the pipes alone are 3+ feet.

I'm with Steve on this one. I hate to be a kill-joy, but when I look at the room in the nose of an X-2, my first thought is "No way - Now how"
