VXR and FZR speed limiter
How difficult is it to bypass the speed limiter on the FZR and the VXR? I did some search but cannot found anything

There is a RPM and boost limiter on the SHO engine. Both of which are controlled by the ECU. A reflash will rise both of them or a powershot will just raise the boost limiter. IMO a reflash is the way to go because it can accomadate more mods where as a powershot will really put you on the limiter.

Also- the VXR is the n/a engine so you woulnd't ever use a powershot on it. There are reflashes for the VXR tho. They are also in the online store.

is there any gain when you reflash a stock ski? how much a stock FZR / VXR can do without a limiter?

No problem. There's so much more info on the fourm. Check out the FX SHO library (sticky) and some of the builds.

not if you can get a spare reflash off the for sale section, put the stock one back on for warranty issues.
