Repair Tricks & Tips
As a PWC Mechanic, Engineer and Fabricator, I am starting this thread in the cayman section to help anyone here who wants to help themselve's and help to make it easier for you to get the job done.
This is welcome to any and everyone to add their little tips and tricks.
I'm not sure if this thread will get moved to another location on the forum but for now i'll keep it going.
Ok, the first tip I would like to add is:
Believe it or not, the grab handles on the FZR's bottom section are a pain to take off unless you unbolt the whole two part of the handle, which is timely.
So, here's what i discovered.
In pic1, use the Allen wrench to start loosening the bolt.
Take out the allen wrench once the bolt is broken free otherwise the wrench will get stuck under the upper handle.
Insert a low profile 1/4 inch rachet(pic2) without a socket on it.(yes, the square end fits the allen bolt head)
Continue whenching to remove the bolt with ease(pic3).
Install in reverse order.

This Cayman section is so dead, i'll try to keep this thread alive... with possitive things as usual.
Running your watercraft in too shallow a water or keeping it running close to the beach can be dangerous for your Engine and wind up being very costly.
This motor water jackets were filled with sand and therefore overheated, not even to flushing would have gotten all this sand out.
