    Handle bar extension

I am planning to extand my stock handle bars as they are abit narrow for my liking, i was thinking of adding about 1.5" each side.

Has anybody done it before and is that a good amount to add, more/less?

Other than fitting UMI system, is there handles bars that will fit stock mount. I wass planning on turning down a shoulder on some SS tube to slide into my stock bars?/

yep thanks waz they have never moved and you get to keep the stock bars and controls in place, gives you more leverage in cc conditions also.

Just the reply I was looking for as i was abit wooried I could possible break the handles bars in a rouch sea with the extra leverage force on the centre part of the bars, And yes plan to make a set up. looking at the pictures they have been extended by about 1.5" - 2"?

    thanks

I will have to move the dow bit at I will still use the OEM throttle lever.

i didnt bother moving the throttle as i felt the lever was more than long enough when you put thinner grips on
