    injectors?

oem injectors are how many cc?
gpr injectors are how many cc?

i am considering going up to a set of 725cc, in order to get the duty cycles in safe limits with the r3/c5 setup.
i know the 1,000 cc injectors are the same price, but would that be to big of an injector for my setup?

Stock SHO/FZ injectors are 396cc at 43 lbs. per R&D.

As far as the ID 725cc or ID 1,000cc injectors. You have to tune for the 725's so why not lower dc and just do 1,000's?

i was not sure if the 1,000 cc would be to much of a good thing.
the only way i have to tune it would be to lower fuel pressure to get the afr correct.

if you do this you should get the reflash designed for larger injectors, if you just use the R3 you will probably never get it right

so get the reflash and the injector combination that R&D suggests

You don't want to do it this way. There are tons of compensations in the ECU for injector lag time, voltage compensations and all sorts of other shit that needs to be adjusted for. Phillip is right. If you want to use bigger injectors go to a reflash that is specifically designed for them.

Personally I don't think you need bigger injectors. Your setup has been proven safe by R&D. They wouldn't offer an R3 tune designed to support their C5 wheel with stock injectors if it wasn't safe. There is a reason you don't see any reflash skis blowing up and it's because R&D does their homework on their tunes.

Todd (Hitman) Is correct! When you mix and match products you are looking for problems. This is why R&D went to all the effort to offer so many reflashes for different situations( injectors, boost wheels and fuels) Do your self a big favor and follow there recomendations on what works with what parts. You will be alot better off with the end results. Tommy Jordan

    hitman you are 100% correct.
the oem injectors work well with the reflash. i have no problem with that.
i have also been told by "trustworthy" sources that upgrading to the 725cc injectors with the r3/c5 is a nice recipe. gaining top end and acceloration.
i was only throwing it out there to see if anyone would fess up to using the 725cc injectors with a r3 reflash.
i am sorta tempted to upgrade to a r7 reflash but, i was under the impression that reflash was for modded motors?

    my bad.......
the reflash that calls for the 725cc injectors is the R8.
