Are the MFD's 8 or 12 pin? I will take one of them let me know how to proceed, just need to know if I'll need the harness or not. They are fuel/oil, speedo and such like the oblong MFD's in the handlebar pads of the 780s etc? That's really the one that I need but I'd settle for a round one if I had to and for the price I'd take it anyway.

I guess they don't have a speedo built in, so I'll take the speedo gauge to if I'd need it.. you tell me. I thought the round MFD's had basically everything the oblong later model MFD's had except for maybe the trim gauge.

I may need an oil sender, have no clue if mines working since the MFD is toast... just in case.

    Just let me know.

Which one? The 12/17 I assume?

Really in good shape, just a little surface rust and 1 tiny ding on the very edge of 1 blade.

8 thou. clearance using a new wear ring.

I have another as a core if you want to send it to Impros for refurbish.

    All rounds are 8 pin.

correct, they have pretty much all the same functions as the oval, except trim level and max speed and RPM. (some even have a compass, which the rounds do not)

    Yes, they do display speed.

You're aware they do work, just the numbers are faded correct? Might be a prime candidate for someone who wants to try and repair a round MFD.

As long as one can somewhat read and make out the gas and oil levels... it's ok. Right now, my MFD is toast on my SLX so I was going to mount this in the glove box lid just to have for the fuel and oil levels really... dangerous to get out in the middle of the lake and not know if you are going to run out of gas or not before you can get back! Faded... can it still be made out what they are reading?

I'll take one of those MFDs. I've gotten pretty good at fixing the oval ones...time to try a round.

Also thinking about the R&D grate...might be useful for the SLH...

    Hi Kevin,
That 2 piece engine plate for the 780 looks like something I would be interested in. Is that from a 785 or is it a custom plate. I was considering on doing something with my original plate to make it lighter. How does this bolt up to the engine and hull? Do I have to change the location of my engine mounts?
