    A new poll for clutch life span...

    As now i notice that the clutch life spans are so far apart with some going at 10hrs and some over 200hrs...

    So i thought it be a good idea to renew the thread on clutches

    You are going to see different ranges like that because there is a wide range of performance packages on this forum. That's why I think any polls like this should try to take an accounting of whether the skis are stock or modified; and if so, what types of mods and speeds are involved in each case. Just my 2 cents.

    I agree totally but I'm hearing of skis over here going at 16hrs stock and some with 220hours stock... Mine went 37hrs semi stock..

    37hrs Stock replaced under warrenty

    i see yamaha are now replacing them on skis OUT of warrenty

    This might be true, but I doubt they are replacing the clutch on modded skis. So that eliminates 99% of people on the forum. I suppose you could always put the stock parts back on but that would be a PIA.

    just i have heard yamaha have issued warranty repairs on some skis out of warranty now ?????
