Driveshaft reinstall lube??
So what do you guys use for reinstalling your original driveshaft (not a new one). The shop manual mentions a special seadoo lube (or two) for critical spots along the shaft. Are those products a must, or can I just use hight temp. wheel bearing grease?
Mainly wondering what I can use without having to go to the seadoo dealer and spending $$$ on say 2ounces of "special" seaddo stuff
But yes.....i want it done right.

I have never used any type of lube when installing my driveshafts...If your really worried about it you can take some WD-40 spray it on a rag and wipe it on the 2 rubber O-rings in the hat...This is the only place were you would possibly need any lube...

I use a little Synthetic grease on the D_Shaft Splines (Impeller end) and Carbon Seal Top Hat Inner O-Rings---
NO lube (of any kind) on the Carbon Seal itself.
