    New to Sea Doo's

Not too sure if this is the right section or not. Looking at a 2006 RXT with 25 hrs for $6750. Price includes a trailer and cover. I have talked to the seller of the ski and the SC washers have not been updated. What else should I look out for?

Ohh yeah... Last ski I owned was a 96 Polaris SLX 780. So i guess you could say im looking to be a born again ski owner...Although I do have a Can-Am DS650 in the garage.

If the ski is in great shape and the washers had been changed that may not be a bad price. But being that you will need to pull the charger and have it upgraded, I think that price is to high.

What would be a reasonable offer $6000? I'm fairly mechanically inclined. Are the washers something i can do in my garage? If not is there a shop you recommended shipping it to?

Cant really say without seeing the ski in person, but I would start at 6k.

Jerrry Gaddis aka Greenhulk is the man for Sc rebuilds.

With only 25 Hours $6,000 would seem fair.

I would prolly pay that price if he changed the washers out. The rebuild kit is $$ pricey and needs to e done at least every 100 hrs if not sooner.

When I bought one a few years ago I was glad to have one with ceramics and a clean service history. That way I knew they weren't changed because of an issue.
