My steering cable was getting corroded. So I took a piece of 1/2" diamter clear thin wall vinyl tubing - removed the swivel joint from the pump end steering cable - clamped the tube over the steering cable housing - added some lube and use compressed air to force the lube Up the cable. Worked like a charm and was very easy and quick. With the clear tube you get to watch - moving the steering back and force while lubing speeds the process.
