    Full Syn for SHO?

Sorry guys, tried the search and couldn't get anything to come up on this. Was wondering if it's ok to be using the full syn oil for the SHO's. I didn't think it was a problem but have seen on the forums where people have questioned it. Thanks

Sure it is. Just make sure it doesnt have any friction modifiers in it. I use Mobil1 4T motorcycle oil.

+ 1 on the Oil, I run the same, or you can use Amsoil Synthetic Motorcycle oil.

Yes you can use Synthetic in it. Jerry uses the AMSOIL Synthetic Marine 10w-40 in his FZR

i think as long as you use a good quality oil of the correct specification you should be ok. ran mine for first 122 hours on yamalube with no problems..

I would say switch it out on your first oil change.

I do not have any information on their marine oil. I do have specs on a lot of their other products though.
