2004 GTX SC Pump Question
I recently took my pump to the local SeaDoo dealer to inspect and ensure that it was good for the new year. After he looked at it he said it needed to be rebuilt with bearings and shaft as he said that he could see 2 threads down the center where the drive shaft goes into the end of the pump. And he said that that was not good, however the pump never made any noise last year and if you take the pump and spin by hand there is no noise either now. How do I determine if the dealer is telling the truth or just trying to take my money? Thanks for your help.

I recommend you holler at Duke or WFO or a select few other forum members. Send your pump to them. They will be honest with you and tell you if it needs to be rebuilt. If it does need to be rebuilt, they'll take care of you.
