Thread: 260LX to Bimini

    260LX to Bimini

I am planning on riding to Bimini and back and haven't owned this ski long enough to know what failures I need to plan for on the trip. I hope nothing happens, but I want to know what I should bring with me just in case. I plan on using the storage for my personal gear and leaving a small amount of space for spares and tools. I am guessing I should bring spark plugs and hose clamps but beyond that I don't know. Any suggestions?

The trip is about 55 miles each way. The ski has 10 hrs on it. So far it is just me and a SeaDoo Jet Boat.

first of all upgrade your pump if it's not already done and bring some extra fuel

I have upgraded to the 2010 pump and shaft and I plan on taking about 5 gal extra just incase. The manual says it will do 65 miles at WOT.

check all the hose clamps for tightness. Maybe a quart of oil just in case.
