    Important flushing information

As most of us know, the 4 Tec's have closed loop cooling. The only thing that needs to be flushed is the exhaust and intercooler system as that is cooled by lake water.

Just remember, start the engine FIRST and then turn on the water. Dont forget to turn the water off BEFORE you shut the engine down after flushing. Failure to do this will result in filling your engine up with water with possible catastrophic results.

Yes, and it doesn't need to be run for 10 mins either. Just a couple mintues.

Because of the closed loop cooling system, your ride plate doubles of a heat exchanger for the cooling of the glycol. The ski needs to be in the water for this to be effective. So, don't run it too long out of the water, your engine could overheat.

Also, the carbon seal/ring is cooled by lake water as well. You don't want this over heating and breaking down either.

Where do you get the RXT flush kit or where is the connector for the host ?
Is it the thing to the left of the nozzle ?

What is a safe rev or rpm you can do ?

The hose connection is at the top right of your pump. Just let it idle on the hose for a few minutes.

How often do you have to flush the engine? Do you have to do it every time you take it out?

We ride in fresh water-- well..... as fresh as the east texas lakes get anyway...

I'll flush our skis if we aren't going out again in a couple of days. We're usually out on a lake somewhere at least every other day. I figure its best to get the green water and any small debris out if they're going to sit. Otherwise, when we get back, I just run them for a few sec to blow out any residual water.

    Flushing

It mentions not to flush hot engine in instruction book! How long after operating your ski should you wait. would a 1/2 hour ride home from the lake be to soon?
I flush even after using in the lake because of not to clean lake water.

    Awsome RXP
