    Question 2000 Polaris Genesis 1200cc Fuel Injected - NO SPARK

    I have a 2000 Polaris Genesis 1200cc Fuel Injected, that has no spark. I see it has individual coil packs, so im guessing its not that. Is there anything that it could be other than the stator? Is there a way to check it?

    Thanks for all your help!

    Yes, there are other common reasons for no-spark on a Ficht engine. The ignition coils tend to be reliable.

    Things to check;
    Voltage on White/Red wire while cranking, all injectors plugged in?
    Speedometer 'wakes up' when engine is cranked after sitting for more than five minutes?

    Check my signature links for more Ficht related info.

    Injectors are pluged in, spedo sits at top speed, drops to 0 (slowly) when cranking, then returns to top speed.

    Where are wires located (sorry theres a lot of wires)

    Well, that is not the way the MFI is supposed to work.

    I suggest you unplug and bypass the MFI for the moment. A bad display can cause strange problems.

    Thinking about it further, you may have a grounding problem somewhere. Bad grounds (corroded, loose, broken) can also cause strange behavior.

    White/Red wires run from the EMM to all of the injectors, and to a few other things. Find a convenient place to tap into any White/Red wire. There may be a splice connector that you can unclip the cover to make a meter contact.

    Was that on a Ficht fuel injected engine?
