    Driveshaft all the way in?

This was my 1st time removing the driveshaft, so I wasn't too sure if I installed it correctly. I was reading the shop manual, and it was saying that the "telltale groove" should not be visible, and that it should be pushed more into the engine. From these pictures, does it seem like the telltale groove is still showing?

I know that the bellow boot is installed upside down, but I just did that for viewing purposes.

    Thanks for the help guys!

Not quite in all the way, Reach in & pull back on the bearing you will feel it click into place. That bellows is touching in the middle on yours & there should be a small gap.

would it be easier to pull on the bearing or just remove the pump and give the driveshaft a little tap?

The driveshaft needs to be tapped in more as it appears the PTO seal is just covering the go not go groove.

Sorry for the poor quality of pics........
the first pic shows the go no go groove.
the second shows where the PTO seal should be.

Also, if you're going to use a worm clamp put it on the bottom.....you might not get the S/C in place.

Just grab a handful of rubber and pull back, you'll know when it's seated.
