Depth finder on RXP
Anyone ever add a depth finder to an RXP. what's the unit even look like?

Are you asking about an OEM depth gauge on the RXP? If so, it can be done but it wasn't built for it. The harness doesn't support it. However, you can add it if you know what you are doing. The problem is getting the ECU to recognize it. It was easier for me to buy an aftermarket depth gauge and install it. The one from BRP is for the RXT's I believe.

The Seadoo oem one I put on my TX also had instructions and wiring harness for install on a RXP.

Ya I was wondering if I could use it in conjunction with my display. My mpem was reset and now shows a depth gauge readout but I didn't know if I could wire one in or not?

In the kit I got it had a suplement instructions for a RXP. It also had 2 wiring harnesses. The extra one was long enough to reach the front of a RXP where the fuse box is. Not sure where the sending unit goes on a RXP, but on the RXT there is a place near the water box molded in the hull. The dealer charged me $70 to hook it up to buds to activate it. Stock display and ecu.

Perfect. I will get it out and look at it again. I never unwrapped anything except for the instructions. Thanks!

You can use the factory depth finder on older rxts but not rxps. You'll need to go aftermarket...like norcross marine.
