    Otherwise there's only a few things need my attention...
    Crank - has 2 seized bearing and a noisy one - Where to get it rebuilt ??
    Pistons - have pretty heavy scoring, but cans are clean and spotless, also looke like they have been ported and polished
    Drive Shaft - Bent and needs to be replaced

    Everything else seems fine so far beside the ring gear on the mag that has a few teeth damaged and thinking about replacing along with all the tempo lines are being discarded and replaced with automotive grade fuel lines and using bolt clamps.

    Seems like it has some work done to it, so what prop do you guys suggest ??

    I only paid $250 for it

    BTW...
    how hard is it to add a fuel level sender and gauge ??
    It doesn't have one and I'm not afraid of wiring...

    from the looks of it you have a limited motor. thats a Factory Pipe you have there and is worth twice what you paid for the ski...what carbs came with it? as for wiring I would get the electronics from a 95XP, fuel baffle, and mulit-gauge easy drop in...

    Its a Dual Carb setup, but not sure of the specs...
    Has an R&D intake grate and a repitched prop thats damaged a bit ( trailing edge of impeler is dented and looks like a rat chewed on it ), but looking to get a Solas prop for it ( unsure whats a good pitch to go with... Any insight ?? ) and see what shape is the rest of the jet drive in. The pump is a brass unit and looks like it has been worked on and has no play. Driveshaft is Bent pretty bad and just made an offer on another one on eBay

    Budy that i bought it from was pretty "baked" at the time i went to pick it up from and was just stuttering most of the time. So i just asked what his bottom price he would take for it ( he had it listed for $400 ) and he said $25o but get it out of my garage NOW !!
    So i forked over the $$$ loaded it into my buddies Astro Van and left. Also got 2 keys and a lifejacket
    Whats the difference between the white and silver motors ??
    and whats the limited trim ??

    Also, since you suggested the multifunction gauge...
    is the oil level sending unit direct swap in from the GTX ??

    The white motor are 97-98 and older the sliver motors are 99-2000 and newer. sliver motors are so post to be better. Not for sure. just what I herd.

    787 Swap or Rebuild...

    I could sell the engine as a core even though it only needs 3 bearings and sell the factory pipe ...
    and pick up an 787 engine instead of rebuilding this one.

    Whats the 720 rated at anyways taking in consideration hopped up carbs and a factory pipe ??
    VS
    787 eventually with a Couffman pipe

    Also i believe the hx has the smaller jet pump compared to the 787 or 951 ( which I'm still considering BTW, but worried about the fittment )
