    Question Damaged shoulders on PVs

These power valves are in good shape except for the shoulders. On one it looks like the power valve dropped into the cylinder - but it wasn't. On the other it looks like it may have been a manufacturing defect where a chunk broke off the valve.

This is in a rec ski, the only mod is a grate and waveeater clips. Question is how problematic are the shoulders? They don't even seem to act as guides. I'll probably replace them anyway just because, but it seems to be really unusual damage.

they get eaten up when the valve drops too far down... I have seen them run fine like that, and also seen them break off right there
