    Aussie hp (300x)

    Just got tech specs.

Aussie boats have 10hp and 8ft/lbs more than USA boats!!!!

Euro boats have the worst cruising economy.

Aussie and USA boats have same cruising economy.

Anyone want to buy an ECU??

    Hmm

What happens to your key(s) when you change ecu? Will the old keys still work?

So in reality the US spec should use less fuel than the Aussie spec as it has 10hp less?

Im just going off shop manual.

Maybe eco mode is same map as USA and full snot mode is same as Euro???

    Just a guess.

I can dump old keys in new ecu on 250/260 so probably the same.

There may be an issue with selling Aus ecu as a performance part for USA boats though.

I will probably need to submit a hull # to kawi Aus to order one and they will probably tell me to go "F" myself unless it's an Aussie boat.

    Only time will tell.

    Hmm

Nothing an aftermarket bolt on mod can't overcome!

So do the American's get 290x's or do the Aussies get 310x's?hahaha

Yes I would gues Kawasaki Australia to tell import owners like myself to go away.

I'm pretty sure because of fuel quality...
Just like when they import JDM/EDM car to USA, always less HP/TQ.

If I were to guess I would bet its timing, It may not even be an ecu thing, it could be a timing wheel or even just a program. I remember reading somewhere that the ultra lx and 260x have the same ecu and when you order it you have to give them your ski information. but, the Aussies get the good go go juice, 98 ron is 95 octane?
