How to clean oil on the insdie of the intercooler? The air passage area.

I was putting the new charger on today and was thinking about cleaning the intercooler. Well i really didnt want to because I knew what a pain in the ass it is to remove and re-install it. I put my fingers in the inlet hole coming from the charger to check for oil saturation and found just that. The entire thing is coated in a fine oil film. Soo I took it all apart (god help me put it all back together) and Im not wondering what/how do I lean the inside of it (not the water passage). I seen some stuff people were using to clean the water coil, would it work just as good on the air coil?

just flush it with fuel a couple of times. Put it out in the sun a few hours. If there still is a bit fuel inside it dosenīt matter. Donīt use that other stuff that some people use to clean the water cannel in your air passage as itīs hard to get all of it out and itīs probaly not the best to get into your motor.

I usually use gasoline, or maybe even some brake cleaner
    Or carb cleaner.

Gasoline worked great. Went in clear and came out this color that looked like tea with milk in it. Got the new style viton seal on my new x-charger, from what I've read should prevent this from happening again.
