The first 56 miles were flat and it got rough during the last 56 miles. There was some great racing. I got some good video footage. Friebe beat Gerner by a half boat length, however Gerner took 1st overall with two 2nd place finishes. There boats were all over the place due to the angry water conditions. I recorded these short clips in 720p with my Motorola Xoom.
1st Place - Mark Gerner
2nd Place - Steve "Retired" Friebe
3rd Place - Sean Conner
14 mile laps x 8 laps = 112 miles
Fastest Lap: Sean Conner @ 10 minutes and 10 seconds = 83+ mph

Here's some footage from the start of the 1st race from Lee Phan's boat.
Listen to the RPM at :56...it drops a little, he switched to low boost to save the motor for later if needed but he had other issues anyway..
If you can, pause the video & read the GPS.. Man I wish I could have raced with you guys. The doc just gave me 2 more weeks at HOME.. My leg is worse than we all thought LOL
