Please Identify this part if you can!
Some of you know from my carbon seal thread that I had a mishap on Thurs.
Yesterday I was cleaning out the hull and removing the carbon seal and driveshaft etc and I found this piece just sitting in the hull around where i was cleaning. At first I thought it might have floated into the hull while the carbon seal was loose or whatever (since it doesn't look like an engine part and has no part number on it), but then the obvious hit me....its impossible to enter the hull through the carbon seal hole as it's too large.
So can anyone please identify what the hell this is. I don't want to run the ski after fixing my carbon seal issue without knowing where this came from.

Holy shit, you are tha man! haha Thank you!
How did you know that without even knowing which catch can I have? I didnt even think to look there since i hardly ever look at my catch can....plus, i wonder what made it fall off anyway. it pushes right back on very snug.

Yea its kinda scary to find this laying around on the same day shit comes apart (my carbon seal issue)
But mine has probably been flying around in there a while and i only found it since i took on water and then pulled some parts out.
