What I thought was a clutch failure

she went on me......I started it on the trailer....was making alittle noise then when warm went away, took her out ran her alittle while @ 5k then 6k then hit it it banged the limiter, then I let off alittle down to 5k then tried to get on it and only 6200rpm no power and jingeling comming from S.C.

What should I do, all I did to it was a intake ribbon upgrade and a R&D power flow stock like filter......Thanks guys

So I fu***ed up! THE CLUTCH IS GOOD......god I feel stupid now, I lost power cause the Charge hose blew off going into the intercooler, damm I wanted to keep riding today, now the wife has to go to walmart.

I did the spin test to make sure spins one way NOT the other.

    Glad we could help
But in all seriousness, I would recommend some nice T-Bolt style hose clamps or at least put some blue loctite on the stock worm gear style clamp.

On two separate occasions I had the hose pop off at the lake and I would make a short trip to the nearby Walmart for tools. Now I just keep some tools in the truck. Also, make sure the inside of the hose and the surface of the charger are good and clean. Any oil and such just makes it easier for it to possibly come off.

Yea I screwed up, reading too far into problems that don't concern me yet. Should have checked first.....I looked at the dock, but didn't catch it.

I took the ski out prev, and recorded 70.8.....I used a Garman Nuvi car Gps, I used my Garman Mariner today and got a totaly diffrent, but more realistic number of 69.1, It was a little windy but the water conditions were the same "glass" is "radar" more accurate, hose held on this time........I love the accel and "no lag" that my Honda Turbo had......I like the ski its HOT

Sounds like this happens a lot, it would be good if someone could post up a photo showing the exact hose and where it pops off...
