    Thumbs up Julio's VXR build

    Hello everyone,

It is official, I am the proud owner of a blue VXRClick image for larger version.

ID:	235291. I picked it up on Saturday and already started modifying it with outstanding results. The motor hasn't been broken in yet so I'm sure it will get better once the engine loosens up a little. The ski now has 1.5 hours on it and it did 67MPH on a full tank right out of the boxClick image for larger version.

ID:	235290 I ran it for about .8 hours and went to work as soon as I got back to my house. The first thing I did is the intake manifold upgrade kit and the RIVA POWER FILTER KIT. The kit is super nice, Riva did a really good job on it and really opens up the ski's performance. I went back to the lake today to continue with the break in process and also I couldn't wait to get some GPS numbers to see the difference from just the Riva filter kit and I couldn't believe my eyes. I did a pass with three quarters tank and BANG 70.3MPH Click image for larger version.

ID:	235292 I then burned some fuel and did another pass with a halve tank and WOW!!! 71.1MPH Click image for larger version.

ID:	235293 All from a naturally aspirated motor that hasn't been broken in yet with ONLY a RIVA FILTER KIT!!! The way I look things dollar for dollar you get a lot more from the Riva filter kit vs a reflash since the ski still retains the factory warranty.

I love the ski over all and I know it could use an intake grate and better ride plate and maybe some sponsons and I'm looking forward to this ski for fun reliable performance. I will keep you guys posted as I continue working on my ski, Julio...

    Congrats.
Might be easier to keep up with your various build threads if they were in the Project section.

Thank you Jerry, see I never had the chance of owning a GPR so for me this ski will fill that space. I love the way that RIVA filter kit wakes it up, Julio...

+1 on the color and that seat sells the ski, Julio...

A couple of tech items. It appears to the best of my knowledge and I say this because I don't have a digital tach in it right now that the stock RPMS are some where around 7600 or so and the red line rev limiter is at least at 8000 and there is a noticeable increase in RPMS with the Riva filter kit. The ski pulls hard and jumps right out of the hole compared to stock and handles very well. I do have to work on porposing problem and I think is due to my weight. I know Jerry claims his doesn't bounce and the only difference is rider weight. I weight in at 170 LBS and I think that works against me, worst case I will fit in some trim tabs that I can control from a hand leaver, Julio...

Also the ski has zero cavitation on the current configuration...
