You could open up the leading edge of the prop to a 14 and also try a smaller nozzle.

You have a SHO right? May want to have Jim mod your plate. Your speed seems a bit low for your level of mods and the RPM you're getting. What are you doing for engine cooling?

Getting the ride plate modded will give you some more speed.

How many times are you banging the limiter on takeoff? Some cavitation is normal with the 155mm pump so you are going to have to utilize some throttle control unless you want to burn up your stator veins.

1-2 seconds of pure spinning up..

I would like a modded plate but being over In the uk makes it costly

like hitman said, open up the leading edge of the prop to 14, but cavitation could be caused by alot of different issues, just to name a few
is your pump shoe/grate properly sealed with 5200?
have you re sealed your transom?
hows your prop to wear ring clearance?
have you inspected the pump to make sure the veins are ok?

If your banging the limiter hard on takeoff you are treating your S/C clutch like a rattle gun.

Yeah everything is sealed up good and proper just too much power for my little prop I recon.....

I'm rubbish with pitches so bare with me..... With opening it up to a 14.23 affect acceleration and in what way ? How will top end alter?

    Thanks ian

Giving the leading edge a steeper angle will grab more water and load up the trailing edge better. It should help reduce cavitation, but realistically, there is always going to be some cavitation there with the 155mm yami pump and a modded SHO engine. It will also reduce max RPM by just a little bit but doesn't effect max RPM as much as adding pitch to the trailing edge.

start with a 14/23 as we discussed ian and take it from there. you need to try it and see where you go from there.
