    question on a 96 gtx, fuel sending unit on LOW FUEL..

    my question is does ski go into safe mode if low fuel, light is on. no time to fix for this weekend, starts right up and seems to rev. i have not put it in the water,(or should i leave it til i fix it) i don't mind the light just want them to run fine. i have 2, the other ski same model no lights. thanks for any info.

    no such thing as a safe mode on these old dinosaurs...this is the problem...fuel gauge fix if you feel it bog once with fuel "ON" switch it to "RES"(Reserve) and bee line it to the nearest gas dock cause you have 1/2 to 1 gallon left.
