    Good-Bye Chicago!

We finally finished today. Now it's back to warmer weather.

I would have been out of here 2 weeks ago, were it not for the extra work handed to us -and a $30k boo-boo. we managed to bend one of the valve stems when installing.

Folks, you have a beautiful state here. I'd love to come visit, without having to work 84hrs a week.

Art, I'm going to ask for a rain-check on the invite. Ct. sounds great, but a little colder than were I'm at now. I'm looking forward to a shorts and T-shirt winter.

Thanks for the good thought guys. I made it home safe.

Now, if only all my parts had made it here. I was hoping to get both skis going, but my orders were incomplete.

What I did get was a very hard to find set of 40mm carbs off a 97 SL 1050. These don't have the accel. pump, and a 2-jet metering block. Next step, off to Harry for a little tweeking.
