    Boost numbers location?

    Hey guys

where did you locate your boost gauge bung I am asking because on one ski I use the R&D block and on another one I tapped the manifold between number 1 and 2 on the manifold my stock boost number are lower than the one using the R&D block. I am only getting around 6# at 7700 using the manifold which seems low what numbers are you guys getting and did any of you tap the manifold

Shodude has Jerry's old SHO that had the sensor installed in the plenum(see link) & mine was installed using the R&D block & we saw identical #'s. Both skis had identical mods at the time.

When I saw a difference in boost numbers I had a wiring issue with the gauge. Once that was resolved everything read the same.

If it reads .1 it's not getting a signal from the sensor...check the connector. If it shows crazy high #'s there's water in it.
