    Anyone used DEKA batteries?

Does anyone have any experience running DEKA batteries? The local dealership in Tampa is pushing them over the equivalent OEM YAUSA battery. They have a lower AH rating, and I'm not too sure about the reliability.

What type of battery are you looking at?( added acid or AGM)

Deka makes excellent batteries, and their AGM battery ( ETX30LA) has been recommended by a lot of people as one of the best for 4-tec use.

Keep in mind an AGM battery will have a lower amp hour rating than a conventional acid-filled one, but the other benefits outweigh this.

+1 Deka is the best money can buy. (Sticky??)

The smaller Deka ETX16L has more than enough power for a 4-tec. I run this battery in my Yamadoo and it get LOTS of starts/stops (6MPH idle and no reverse)
