Fuel Lines for polaris direct inject engines

    Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum, was over at PWCtoday for a few years....but polaris info was scarce at best. Looks like you have a lot of good threads and how to info here.

To my question, I have a 2002 polaris virage TXi with a bad fuel pressure regulator. I'm going to have to take apart the fuel system to fix it and would like to replace the fuel lines. I still have the old grey lines and have noticed some wear on the return line where it rubs up against the injectors (as per technical bulletin).

Does anyone have any suggestions on replacement fuel lines? I was looking at fuel-line.net as recomended over at PWCtoday, but they don't appear to be true fuel lines. I was looking online for other sources and it seems most sites only sell true fuel line by the reel. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Any good quality fuel injector line should work fine.

    Welcome to the Hulk

    What took you so long

The fuel pressure on a Ficht system is max about 30PSI. Here are my notes regarding fuel hose grades.
Marine rated fuel line, that is compatible with Ethanol, is preferred
USCG TYPE A1 SAE J1527 NMMA TYPE ACCEPTED (ISO 7840)
J1527 A1-15 is low permeability (a good thing), and all A1 grade hose has a fire resistant outer coating

SAE J1527 Type B2 (and A2) is for fuel tank vent hoses only, do not use B2/A2 for fuel lines unless it is also A1 rated.
From what I can tell, the current version of these marine fuel hose ratings is for up to E10 (Gasoline with up to 10% Ethanol blend)

BTW, have a look through my signature links for more good info
