    Arrow Substitute and Alternative parts, Replacements for out-of-stock OEM parts

    I would like to start a list of known alternatives to OEM Polaris PWC parts, especially out-of-production, hard to find and/or expensive parts.

    If you know of specific parts that can be substituted or replaced, please post them here.

    It would be helpful if you included the original Polaris part number(s) that the part(s) replace.

    For the replacement part(s) please list as much info as you can;
    Brand, model, part number, code, anything that will help someone else locate and purchase the part.

    Also mention anything unusual or helpful, such as slight modifications or adjustments needed to use that part.

    Good idea - seems like Polaris is almost done with many of the parts.

    Also the Pro 785 has become damn near impossible to get parts for

    This is a good idea. With Polaris parts getting harder and harder to find, a good aftermarket resource would be huge.

    It is not going to be a single alternative source for parts, that's certain.

    What I am expecting is a whole range of alternatives, from 'this boat/automotive/industrial part will replace that' to 'this Yamaha/Kawasaki/Sea-Doo part will fit/work'.

    Even if it is a small thing you know about, post it up

    Looking around, there are a lot of 'copy' Virages around. There's a company I heard of in the states that is making these. They bought the design from Polaris (apparently) so I would think that particularly body parts would be easy enough to track down? Rub strips, hoods, seats, lid stay rams etc shouldn't be too much different should they?

    Rubber Boot for push button circuit breakers. Designed to fit E-T-A breakers found on all polaris models.

    Polaris Part Number 7080461 ~$12
    E-T-A Part Number X20128501 Description "WATER SPLASH COVER" ~$2

    Current Price (8/12) is $2.25 and in stock at http://www.ralphselectronics.com/Pro...=ETA-X20128501

    Have yet to purchase one, but considering how long it took to find the correct part number I figured I would post it here.
