The R&D PowerShot should have come with directions.......what happened to yours?
The R&D plugs in between the injectors and injector plugs.....in any order, attach the ground wire to the negative battery post or on a block ground. Its plug N play......go ride. Its pre-programmed for your application.

I was wondering the same thing. Is it a worth while mod. I assume it just adds more fuel if they are pre programmed. Any gains with them? I would assume you need a wideband to take full advantage of it?

Gents....it all depends on your mods as to which fuel controller is the right one for your ski The R&D unit is plug and Play: no laptop is needed for tuning with it. For my application, the R&D is perfect. The Rude controller will need a laptop and a fuel map, but it is much more versatile........
I'm waiting to install a wide band O2 senor (Innovate) before I do any tuning with the R&D PowerShot.
Concerning taking fuel away, the PowerShot can do that but not below the fuel map programmed into an ECU.

Just so no one is confused. You can't take fuel out with the R&D controller on a base ecu map unless you added it first with the R&D controller, so you are not really taking fuel out. The RUDE controller you can take fuel out or and add fuel on a base ecu map.
