    how to identify if it bogs lack of fuel or over fuel?

    hi, how do you identify if its short fuel acceleration or over fuel acceleration that the skii will bogs???

    If its rich it will blubber and run rough and sputter until it clears out, if its lean it will sound like it just wants to die with no power

    blubber means it won't die, it just won't accelerate, then for a second it will rev.. and the lean .. it will die right if i will pickup little rev??

    Do you still have the stock choke on there? If so, next time it happens, apply some choke. If it gets better, you're lean. (too little fuel) If it gets worse, you're rich. (too much fuel)

    That's the definitive test right there. But, as Bryan stated, if you can nail throttle and the engine spits, sputters, and sounds gurgly all while still accelerating a bit, that means you're rich. You are lean if you nail the throttle and it sounds like "BWWAAA" and just falls completely flat, possibly even dying.

    There are two causes for this:
    1) Low speed screws are improperly adjusted for 1 or more cylinders
    2) Pop-off pressure is improperly set for one or more cylinders.
