    Mikuni rebuild kits

Can anyone tell me what the springs are that are in the mikuni rebuild kits? The kits I have include two springs, but I am color blind. The package instructions only indicates the 115 grams spring but from what I see through the package it looks silver not gold?

What kind of kit? A genuine mikuni kit is the only thing I will ever use, after soem bad luck with the knockoffs, and they include all 4springs.

I would stick with the spring that was in your carb's just adjust your needle height no need to really change the pop off spring.

I just bought the Mikuni Rebuild kits. NOT "OEM". WSM performance products. There are 2 springs in these kits as well. One i will assume is the Pop off spring,, the other is?????? heck if i know. They arent quite the same size. I have had these carbs apart a yr or so ago. I only recall the Pop-off spring. I guess we will find out when we pull these things apart!!!!

Jeep check your PM's............Youi really need to get a pop off gauge...then you will know what the pop off really is........and by putting in the different springs you will see how they raise or lower the pop off...

    springs

They are official Mikuni kits, but only have two springs. I have been given some advice so, I am going to break down the carbs and see if someone can look at the springs and give me the colors...

But if anyone has the true Mikuni kit and knows what springs are included, let me know.

I also have been given some advice on how to check if pop off works right, so I will do that as well.

If it keeps up though, where is the best place (on a budget) to get a pop off gauge?

Here's a chart with the colors. I one of the silver ones is reverse wound from the others. Just don't remember witch one. . .

If you hava an air compressor and a pressure guage, you have a popoff guage.
