Xs650 chopper/bobber NJ
Well my ski addiction is forcing me to sell my 1980 chopper. It's about 95% complete. The frame and bars are still bare and bike doesn't have rear fender. Frame is professionally done with 36 degree rake, hd neck, 4 inch stretch and sits about 4.5 inches off the ground. -2 DNA springer. One off bars. Original chrome 70's Hodaka gas tank, petcocks a little leaky sometimes. Wheels are hd chrome spoke. 21" upfront and 16" in the rear. Kick start only. Biltwell sear New coil and new chopper wiring. Negative I never went through the process of getting the title. I bought the donor bike from Gloucester vo-tech which was donated to them. I had the vin checked by the state police and it's clean, I will include that neck in the sale obviously. I've put about a hundred miles on the bike runs great. Could us a little fatter main jet.
Looking for $2500 obo. Would take some ski parts as partial trade.

Thanks. I was going to paint the frame last summer rootbeer w/metal flake but ended up getting a ski and the bike just sat untouched all summer long. Kept telling myself the ski is fast enough, but that only lasted so long. Now I have to justify to the wife for making it faster by getting rid of the bike, otherwise I would definitely be keeping it!

I know what you mean, this was my third build (first XS, other two were cb750's). I love building them more than I enjoy riding them it's a shame. I still have a cb750, 650, 550, and a xl350 that are waiting to get done, lol!!
