    pulled pump now what?

so pulled the pump, impeller looks perfect minimal wear, pump shows some wear, feeler guage shows a .025 clearance. so what are my options now? i am going to separate the impeller form pump when i get some free time at work and measure the pump clearance.

the important thing is the clearance between the 2 it should be around 0.15mm at 0.25mm your at the limit of starting to have cavitation if you don't already do. Remove the impeller an check your bearing at the same time, if you have the old setup then you should upgrade to the 2011 spec

pump was removed to 2011 spec bearing setup, waiting for pump wrench to come in. pump clearance is between 6.0995 - 6.1005 pump to impeller clearance, clearance between impeller and pump is between .022 and .024

My ski was having cavitation with it only at .017. I sent my impeller off to SBT to get refurbished and now its at 0.09.

It's a exchange program that cost 59,95 plus shipping but you need to call them first, if they have one in stock they gonna ship it to you an you'll have to send your old one within 2 weeks, if not then you need to send yours for rebuild
