    Impeller Pitch Verification

I have been searching on here and have found two different pitches (11/17 and 13/19) for my impeller.

Can anyone verify with certainty what the pitch on a 5131347 impeller is?

What model did you take the 5131347 from ?
Babbit' & Pit Stop show the 1347 is replaced by 5131457 which is a 12/17.
Polaris cross reference doesnt show the 1347.
I looked through the 92-98 service manual and could not find the 5131347 for any model.

Also it could have been Re-pitched by someone,if it was -the pitch is than usually etched into the prop, that might be why there is conflicting info.

Watcon sells "pitch guages" to identify the pitch.
I'm pretty sure Lug's has them,if you want to mail the prop,I'll check it out.

It was from a SLX 780 (I bought the pump from Friscoboater with it in it). There is one thread on here that shows a bunch of part numbers with a handwritten note that it is a 13/19. I was hoping to not have to pull it out....If I don't find anything in the next couple of days, I may take you up on your offer. Thanks.

Just called Polaris...shows as replaced by 5131457 and it is a 12/17. CRAP.

The main reason I bought his pump was to have the stock impeller....this one wont work for my boat.

    So...I guess either I need to get a 785 CDI and coils or find a 15/20 impeller.....UGHHH.

1347 was stock on the 1996 Hurricane.

Also it's listed as the high elevation impeller for 1996 SL/SLT 700

If you're considering the Sea Lion 780 mods, you'd also need the dry pipe and 44mm carbs. So I suggest you find another impeller, or have Impros re-pitch yours. Should be less than $100 and it will be just like new.

Where did you find that info ? I must have a latter printed manual,it lists the 1457 for both of those.
