How stable are the 00+ GPR's riding 2 up?

As the title states. I am looking at getting 2 2000 GP1200R's and was wondering how they act riding 2 up. I have never owned a Yamaha, only early model Seadoo's. Thanks

That is about what I was thinking. The hulls look to be pretty stable.

i find it difficult when riding with another person. Im 185 and the person is 125 and i find it somewhat unbalanced. thats coming in comparison from a f12x 3 seater

    Maximum Load is 2 people/353lbs

With that being said I ride 2 up with my girlfriend occasionally. I weigh 240ish and she's 165 so we're overweight by 50lbs or so and the ski is stable in all water conditions. I would have to imagine that it's against some USCG regulation and if they pulled us onto their boat and weighed us I'd be fined somehow lol.

What part of riding do you find difficult? Slow speed manuevering around the dock or riding at speed on plane? With 300lbs on the ski nothing should be difficult. If it's your cruising speed that feels unbalanced maybe you need to adjust your ride plate, trim tabs, and sponsons.

It gets very unstable at slow speeds unless your passenger is small. I had to dump a passenger once trying to dock just to keep from flipping. Once you're on plane it's fine.

If you're going anywhere near the 353 lbs, get ready to hit the throttle when your passenger hops on or you're going under

The GPR's aren't much fun if you plan on riding with a person on back all the time...
