    2008 seadoo rxt 215 ** Please Look**

I have a 2008 seadoo rxt 215 and a while back ago i was hitting the rev limiter and come to find out it was the carbon ring. Well last weekend when i was at the lake it was hitting the rev limiter so i changed the wear ring and it didnt cavitate for about 30 minutes, but after that 30 minutes it was hitting the rev limiter. So I replaced the carbon ring and a wear ring and nothing is happening. Please help guys.
    Thank you!!

how does your prop look? do you have aftermarket air intake,IC, or SC?

Prop looks good, it has an stage 1 air intake it has a stock intercooler and has a gen II fan.

when you say nothing is happening, do you mean it is cavitating or still hitting rev limiter or both?

So, wear ring is good, prop is good, and carbon ring is good, but you're still cav'ing.

I'm assuming you've climbed under the ski and inspected forward and aft of the prop to make sure there is no foreign material hung up in there...

Would extreme SC slippage cause you to hit the wall? Just throwing darts here...

was the engine aligned? broken motor mount? low oil level, also when you installed the new wear ring was the first startup after that on the hose or in the water? might wanna pull the pump again and see if anything ate up the wear ring.

any chance you are making good enough power that you need to tweak your prop? like Gator said, just throwing darts at you.

I would definately check your engine mounts (especially the left rear). Stand on the right side of the ski, and pull up hard on the exhaust manifold, see if the motor moves. If it does , than u have a bad mount or 2. Also make sure u didnt pinch the pump seal, and the nose cone on the prop isn't loose.

    What prop do u have?
maybe have a bent blade on one of them.

Could it be that the pump seal is chewed up??

That would be my guess, or pinched, or that it's not installed at all. That seal between the pump and the pump support needs to have a good seal or you'll experience "cavitation" like what you are describing.
