Ski recommendation for my Girl friend for Ocean Riding???????

    Hello everyone,
Im in the market for a ski for my girlfriend to ride around with. In her own words the ski "needs to feel safe in the ocean, sturdy, comfotable, not hard to operate in the chop and waves." She will be riding this ski 98% of the time in the ocean. She just wants to cruise around have some fun. Looking to see what yrs and makes I should look at and not look at? Looking for good reliablity as well. new or used, four stroke or two stroke etc. I have no idea about sit down skis. I have a stand up and this will be my first sit down.
Thanks in advance for any help,
    Peter

FXHO all the way! Great ski's I just bought an 06 and I'm already in love after a few weeks. It's one of six I've got... They ride really, really well and they don't burn crazy gas. If you go turbo the Honda's are good, but in salt you have to take extra care... Just remember... there's a reason most compainies use Yamaha's and Sea-Doo 4-Tec, it stock form they last for a looooong time.

Kawi ultras, Best big water ski by far, Either go with a 260, 300, or the non supercharged ultra!

Yamaha FX HO or if she is a more expirienced rider FX SHO. Both are very stable and reliable in open water.

A stock '06 FXHO with the 1098cc motor, 160hp, sips gas, It's so smooth, and if and the chick wanted to take it out together, two people is nothinglll, if you go turbo or supercharged, not only do you have to run premium gas (93) octane... but they suck way more gas.

The kawi ultra 250, 260. The 300 is lighter but not as stable feeling as the older skis is what im hearing from the offshore racers.

What is your price range? All the skis listed besides the FX are gonna be pretty pricey

I would like to spend around 5k to 8k, however if there was a ski out there that would meet her request and was more expensive that would be fine. I wouldnt even mind spending up to 15 k if it was the right ski. But 5k to 8k would be great.
